Prayer Gatherings
At the end of each month, we gather for a midweek Prayer Gathering on a Wednesday evening at Home Church in Riley Park, from 7:00–9:00pm. Check out our Instagram for the date of our next gathering!
Community Groups
Our Community Groups meet throughout Vancouver, Burnaby, and North Surrey, with each group centered around a specific neighbourhood. This season, we're journeying through Practicing the Way. If you're interested in joining a group, email info@passionchurch.ca—spaces are limited!
A conversation about community
We sat down with Quai Diaz, who first came to Passion Church in 2022 not knowing anyone and decided to join a Community Group. In this video, Quai shares how God has met him through authentic community and the ways he's experienced Christ during his time at Passion.
Weekend
Sundays
We have a Sunday morning worship service at the Soundhouse Studios from 11:00am - 12:30pm. If you are driving, we recommend that you arrive earlier as the area isn’t great for parking. Most of the surrounding streets around the Soundhouse are 2 hour paid parking (the rate is $1.00 per hour). There are free 2 hour spaces South of Broadway and East of Main if you don’t mind a 10-15 minute walk!
Every gathering includes
Singing
Singing is simply one of the ways a Christ-follower worships the Lord. Singing has been a practice for thousands of years in the life of the church, and is one of the few things we can actually give to the Lord. We sing an array of songs, both old and present day worship songs.
Prayer
We believe that prayer is communion with the Lord. In our Sunday worship services, we want to create space to dwell, abide and intercede in Christ, through the Holy Spirit. We have an anchored moment of prayer in our service, and time afterwards if you would like to receive prayer.
Teaching
We prioritize teaching the Bible, which we believe to be inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God—crucified on the cross and resurrected from the grave, is the unveiling and revelation of God the Father throughout the Scriptures.
Communion
We believe that the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus Christ for the remembrance of the Atonement, which is His life, death and resurrection. We believe that gathering around the Lord’s Table is to be communally observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Saturday Morning
Prayer isn’t simply preparation for the Holy Spirit to move, prayer is when the Holy Spirit moves. We host an online prayer group via Zoom on Saturday mornings, that are about 30-45 minutes in length. This will be a space where we can pray and intercede for our church, our city, and our world. It will also be a space where we can pray with and for one another.
